History

The Syndicate, alliance tag [SynC], is a Dark War Survival alliance on Server 594 built around teamwork, strategy, shared knowledge, and enjoying the game together.

Many of our original members came from Server 582, where we experienced a culture that became too toxic, hostile, and exhausting to enjoy. Instead of staying in that environment, a group of us chose to start fresh and build something better.

That fresh start brought us to Server 594.

More than half of the 35+ members who started over together on 594 are still active today, with many continuing to help lead, organize, teach, and support the community. That says a lot about what SynC is really built on: loyalty, activity, trust, and a shared desire to make the game more fun for everyone involved.

Our Playstyle

We try to be organized without making the game feel like a second job. We want active members, clear communication, and strong participation, but we also understand that people have real lives.

Our goal is to help members grow, compete, and contribute in ways that make sense for them. Some players are highly competitive. Some love events. Some enjoy helping newer players. Some are data nerds, planners, builders, rally leaders, or comic relief in chat. All of that has value.

The important thing is that we work together.

How SynC Handles Ranks, R4, and Events

Alliance Rankings

Ranks in SynC are not a measure of someone’s worth, value, popularity, or importance to the alliance. Please do not take rank changes personally.

For now, our general ranking structure is based mostly on CP. The reason is simple: it helps leadership quickly manage hive placement, war planning, member growth goals, quickly locating strong players for offensive/defensive actions, and overall alliance organization at a glance.

Ranks are reviewed and adjusted every few weeks as members grow and alliance needs change. We are also considering shifting to a ranking system that better reflects overall contributions in the future, including activity, event participation, donations, teamwork, and support for alliance goals. Future polls will occur if/when that happens.

At the end of the day, a rank is just an organization tool. It is not a judgment of you as a player or as a member of SynC.

R4 Promotions

For members interested in becoming R4 in the future, the best way to stand out is simple: show up, help, and take action before you have the title.

R4 is not just a status symbol. It comes with responsibility, communication, patience, and a willingness to help manage the alliance even when it is inconvenient.

The members most likely to be promoted are the ones already doing the work: helping others, answering questions, supporting events, communicating clearly, staying active, and stepping up when something needs to be handled.

When R4 spots become available, leadership will look first at the people who have already been acting like leaders.

Events and Communication

Leadership will continue sending alliance mail when needed so everyone has clear instructions for important events, reminders, and priorities.

Please also listen to the R4 team during events. Our R4s are excellent at explaining requirements, organizing participation, answering questions, and keeping events moving smoothly.

If an R4 gives event instructions, reminders, or timing updates, please follow their guidance. They are helping keep everyone on the same page so SynC can perform well and make events easier for the whole alliance.
